Danish Applications

Before I converted Copenhagen Cocoa to English, we had compiled a fine list of Danish developed applications, both on Mac OS X, and iPhone. If you are a Danish developer, please feel free to post a link and write short description of your application in the comments below.

KBMSoft is a small Danish company that develops mobile applications for iPhone and iPod touch.
You can find the following applications on Apple’s App Store from KBMSoft:

iSteps Pedometer counts your steps while you walk or run. It is the best selling pedometer app on the Danish App Store and has been mentioned in Børsen (http://pleasure.dk/fri/artikel/163568/).

Hairstyle and Hairstyle Lite are virtual hairstylers. You can take a picture of yourself and experiment with hairstyles in many colours. Hairstyle Lite has been downloaded more than 800,000 times.

NoiseLevel measures the sound level in your surroundings and displays it in a fun way.

PhonyShaker is a small application that turns your iPhone into a variety of shaker instruments like maracas, rhythm egg, rattle, tambourine, shekere and so forth…

PhonyShaker outshines the previously released shaker applications, by having actual musical meaning. PhonyShaker does not just play recorded sounds when it is shaken enough. It generates sound based on the motion of the phone. This lets you keep a beat, and accompany your friend’s

guitar around the campfire with ease – and a little practice, of course. Music is not just sound: It is the right sound at the right moment. This is why PhonyShaker is the most realistic sounding shaker application on App Store.

    PhonyShaker features:
*9 different shaker sounds (and one surprise…)
*Sound generation instead of playback for a better musical experience.
*Control of sound characteristic of the shaker instrument (dampening or decay).
*Easy-to-use interface with just what is necessary.
    *Play-along to your iPod music.

BusTogMetro shows departure times from more than 22000 Danish bus, train and subway stations. It uses the iPhone GPS to show the nearest stations. It’s also possible to plan trips. BusTogMetro fetches its data from rejseplanen.dk.

Toginfo Pro is a location-aware app that shows live train departure and arrival times for Danish trains. This also includes delay information retrieved from Bane Danmark. The App also includes a “Byens Puls” feature that shows the location of all s-trains on a map in real-time. http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=305888652&mt=8
