New Design

March 20th, 2010

I have completed a new design for Copenhagen Cocoa, I really hope you like it!
I have decided not to support IE, since the majority of my readers use more modern browsers, I will soon implement a fallback feature for IE users, so they can see the content in a more basic representation.

Startup Weekend in Copenhagen

March 8th, 2010

The Startup Weekend event-organizers have invited Copenhagen Cocoa’s followers to join the fun, at a favorable price.

A great place to start

Startup Weekend is an event where the goal is to create IT startups. Startup Weekend is being held in Copenhagen the 9th of April to the 11th of April, and it costs 450,- to participate.

Startup Weekend is a break-even/non-profit event, so the fee is only to cover the seven included meals.
Startup Weekend is not focused on iPhone development, but an iPhone project could easily emerge from the ocean of concepts.

In its structure Startup Weekend resembles previous events I have featured on the blog like Copenhagen Cocoa’s Developers Conference and Global Game Jam.

If you register with the promocode “CPHCC”, you get 10% off.
Read more about Startup Weekend on their website.

March 5th, 2010

I am going to attend DevDay in London, a one-day event for iPhone developers.

DevDay will feature two tracks, a business, and a development track, it will also provide a great networking opportunity.

I will be flying Monday morning the 26th of April, I will not make it in time to the opening keynote, but I can attend the remaining sessions.

DevDay is organized by Trifork, and they have invited some pretty interesting keynoters, check out more on their website.
