Spilling the Beans

We are working really hard at Nordic Game Jam to finish our iPhone game. This years theme is ‘deception’ and the constraint is that our game must contain one of the following; a key, a monkey, or a donkey.
We went for the donkey and we are cooking up a Donkey killing game.
I am working with a talented team, including: Martin Nielsen, Uffe Koch, Philip Bruce, Ole Gammelgaard, Martin Nejsum, and Thomas Dehn.
We started programming this morning, and we have come quite a way since. I am doing graphics with Thomas, and Martin Nejsum is doing level design. Philip, Martin Nielsen, Ole, and Uffe are doing the code, and are making allot of progress.
Our goal is to do three levels and a credits screen. We are currently working on the second level and hope to finish it today.
Peter Molyneux was by our table and asked a few questions, and we got interviewed by game reactor.
Robocat Apps are also here, and they are working on a game for the iPad.
Stay tuned for more NGJ news.

A conversation on twitter regarding why NSCoder Night is always held on Tuesdays and never Wednesdays, gave me a desire to host a second NSCoder Night this week. It will be tonight (20th of January) at Café Retro 19:00, Knarbrostræde 26 København.
NSCoder Night is held on Tuesdays worldwide, so for the sake of consistency we try to stick to that, but since so many complained on twitter, we will meet at Retro this evening as well.
If there is enough support we might host more NSCoder Nights on alternative weekdays, though the plan is there should always be a meet-up on a Tuesday, except for the second Tuesday of the month, where we usually attend CocoaHeads.
